The A.T.C. in Pontefract has formed and is rehearsing its bugle band, under Bandmaster Evans. Training also is in progress, with lectures on actual flying and aircraft identification by Sergt Insructor C.N. Tate and Flt Lt Gardiner respectively. On the sports side a cricket match at Goole has been arranged with the Goole Squadron A.T.C. and a swimming gala at Pontefract. An invitation to visit an R.A.F. station has been arranged, and the cadets look forward with great keeness to the occasion.
