BROWNIES

Over 180 Brownies of Pontefract, Knottingley and Ferrybridge, enjoyed a picnic in the grounds of Whitley Lodge, the home of the Divisional Commissioner, Mrs C.G. Lyon, on Saturday. Mrs Lyon presented sports prizes. It was the first rail journey for some of the younger Brownies, and provided a thrill for them.
