THE REAL THING

Cadets of the Pontefract Squadron of the Air Training Corps are to visit an R.A.F. station on Sunday for an insight into the practical side of their training. The courses are at the disposal of the cadets have distinct value, as is shown by a letter from a former member now serving with the R.A.F. Candidates Examination Board for immediate training as a pilot observer, and acknowledges the benefit he received from his training in Pontefract. A Knottingley Flight of the Pontefract Squadron has now been formed, with a compliment of 20, and a further 30 more are required to bring it to full strength.
