PONTEFRACT IN 1941

4th July 1941
GREAT ENTHUSIASM

Great Enthusiasm was shown by 40 cadets of the Pontefract Air Training Corps when they visited an R.A.F. Station on Sunday. The intricacies of the control and watch towers were explained by the officers, and the lads were taken to top of the towers in batches. Others were allowed to sit at the controls of the ''Link'' trainers; and an instructive time was spent.
