CONFIRMED IN HOSPITAL

A member of the A.T.S. stationed at Pontefract, was confirmed privately in hospital on Sunday by the Bishop of Pontefract, the right Reverend T. Longworth. Twenty-six others were confirmed at a service at the Ponteferact Parish Church, and their colleague was to have taken her place among them. On Monday, Holy Communion was celebrated at an A.T.S. depot, and among over 50 communications were the 26 mentioned.
