News of Two Brothers

Word has been received in Pontefract of the two sons of Mrs J.H. Willougby, of Prince of Wales Terrace.

One son, Private J. Willougby, who is married and whose wife lives in Oxford Street, Fryston, is now known to be a prisoner of war in a German camp, after being captured during a raid on France. Twenty-nine years old, he joined the Army nine years ago, and was formerly employed by Messrs. Jackson Bros., of Knottingley. He served in India for over five years with the Yorkshire and Lancashire Regiment, and then transferred to the corps of Parachute Troops.

The other son Private H. Willougby, is reported missing in the Middle East. He joined the Army at the age of 20, two years ago, and was with the East Yorkshire Regiment In civilian life he was employed at the Prince of Wales Colliery, Pontefract.
