PONTEFRACT NIECE MEETS HER UNCLE
Mr.
and Mrs E. Sherburn, of 3 Weeland Terrace, Pontefract, have received a
letter from their daughter, Private Eliza Sherburn, who is serving with
the A.T.S. in Holland, saying that she has met her uncle, Driver Harold
Falkinder, of the R.A.S.C. They spent a very enjoyable day together, and
hoped to repeat the meeting soon.
Driver
Falkinder has been in the Army for five years and has served with the
Eighth Army in North Africa, Italy and Holland. Private Sherburn has
been in the A.T.S. for three years and formerly she was with Messr’s
W.R. Wilkinson.
