CERTIFICATE OF GOOD SERVICE WITH A.T.S

A certificate of good service with the A.T.S. was presented on Sunday to Company Sergeant Major, Elizabeth Mary Winn, of Pontefract, by Chief Commander T.M. Bailey of the Pontefract Training Centre. C.S.M. Winn is the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs J. Winn, of Star Buildings, Pontefract. She has been in the A.T.S. for six years, all of which have been spent in Pontefract. In civilian life she worked at Marks and Spencer’s Store, Castleford. Her father Mr. J. Winn, is a deputy at the Pontefract Colliery.
