A concert party was taken to the Ministry of Pensions Hospital, Leeds, on Monday, by the committee of the Pontefract combined ex-Services Association. It consisted of the ‘Three Batchelors’, Harry Heseltine, Mavis Oakley, Joan Gill and Billy Poole.

A visit was paid to the wards and cigarettes were distributed to the patients. Thanks to the committee and entertainers were expressed by the secretary of the hospital, Mr. Ridgewell.
