The annual meeting of the Pontefract Combined ex-Services Association was held at the Curriers Arms Hotel on Friday. A successful year was reviewed during which patients of the Ministry of Pensions Hospital were entertained four times. Officials were elected as follows: Chairman, Mrs. Crossman, vice-chairman, Mrs. Howgate, Treasurer, Mrs. Lewis, secretary, Mrs T. Lythe, and publicity agent, Mrs. R. Lill.
