JACKSON FAMILY HISTORY
I am
looking for information of my 4x Great Grandfather, Joseph Jackson, who
was born near Selby in about 1787. I believe he married Mary Stacy
in Pontefract in 1812. They had at least seven children born either in
Selby or Knaresborough.
The family are recorded in Barnsley in the 1841
census but Joseph was a widower by this time. The youngest child,
Joseph, was born in 1834, so Mary must have died between these dates..
Their 5th daughter, Sarah Jackson, was my 3x Great Grandmother and
married William Ellis in Barnsley in 1846. Can any one help?
