NEVISON LEAP, PONTEFRACT

ADDED OCTOBER 2005

I have been studying the history of Nevison Leap for a few years now and have found it fascinating. I grew up here as a child and returned with my husband not many years later. Having learned small snippets of history I wanted to expand this knowledge and decided to write it down. Some areas still to expand are the Humber Works on Ferrybridge Road, once a nunnery and now the Limetrees Estate. Others areas are Myson Chair, New/Old Hall, St Ives Well, Stump Cross, St. Thomas’s Windmill and more.

I am appealing to readers of The Digest for information, stories and photographs that could assist me in this subject. Eventually I would like to publish something.
