St. JOSEPH'S SCHOOL

ADDED 14 MAY 2006

My father, Philip Lavine, attended St. Joseph's School, Pontefract and, in response to the incident mentioned by Dave Barry in his memories of St. Joseph's, he was there when the lad was pierced by a javelin. My Dad recalls that the unfortunate victim of the javelin was Peter Higgins and he also recalls a Terry Hurley breaking his arm while at the school.
