The pit heap in the distance at Glasshoughton can just be made out between the signal and the signal box. The subject of the picture is not a passenger train but simply a workmen’s coach being shunted by the Pontefract pilot locomotive, No 46413, an Ivatt Class 2MT 2-6-0. Peter Cookson Peter
