<previous image The Methley Branch next image> Further down the line adjacent to the racecourse, an ex LMS 8F No 48641 heads a Prince of Wales-Leeds coal train; the train may be going to Hunslet Lane sidings or perhaps to Skelton Grange Power Station. This particular spot is now directly under the M62 motorway. Note the background to the left of the locomotive – at that time flat fields and hedgerows.
