This September 1955 picture shows a Goole-Bradford train entering the station on a sunny afternoon; the locomotive is one of the Goole based Ivatt Class 2 2-6-0s No 46405. The picture is included to show the rather handsome footbridge made of lattice steelwork. Photo Peter Cookson.
