HERB WALK AND TALK

Two walks - morning and afternoon

Waterton Countryside Discovery Centre, Anglers Country Park.

To celebrate Herbal Awareness Week 2006 (May 19 - 26), local medical herbalist Bel Charlesworth will lead a gentle stroll around Anglers Country Park to introduce medicinal plants growing in the Countryside.

There will also be a talk in the centre about using herbs at home. Herbal medicine has become more popular with more people turning to it as an alternative to mainstream medicine.

Bel is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, the UK's leading authority on herbal health matters.
