If you have ever fancied tracing your family tree, a Wakefield Council run workshop could give you valuable help.
Budding family historians will be able to pick up genealogy pointers at the free workshop at Featherstone Library on Thursday 1 June.
The session, run in association with Featherstone Library’s Mini Museum, is from 10.30am to 12noon, and will be led by tutor Jackie Depelle.
Denise Jeffery, Cabinet Member for Culture, Tourism and Sport, said: "Jackie will be giving tips for getting started on family history, advising people on the sources they should use and where to find them."
The Heritage Lottery Fund, Sure Start and Wakefield Council fund Mini Museums.
