VISITORS LETTERS PAGES

Continuing with the policy of upgrading the entire website, last night I updated all the templates in the Letters Page section of the site as well as another batch of Years In Focus pages.  It occurred to me that perhaps it would be a good idea to recommence adding all new letters submitted, directly to the Pontefract website, which for over one year now have been included only on the Digest Community website.  The reason this was changed initially was to try to reduce the workload on myself to allow more time for the production of the Digest Magazine but since its unfortunate demise it would now be possible to return to the original format if visitors to the site prefer it that way. If you have a preference please let me know.  In the meantime I will try to update the Letters Pages with some of the most recent additions.

As a footnote I would just like to point out that even though there is no longer a Digest Magazine I am still interested in receiving your articles, letters and photographs for publication on the Pontefract website. As with the magazine, this website is independently published and requires the support of all its visitors in order for it to be successful. It remains the only website for the town that enables members of the community to publish their own work and it provides a much needed source of local information and reference for everyone. Let's try to maintain that.
