YEARS IN FOCUS

Our Years in Focus section has been somewhat neglected recently and so I have made a special effort to address that in light of the redevelopment of the website.  Some of the pages in that section still display original templates from more than 12 months ago and have remained untouched throughout that time. As well as making a start on renovating the existing articles I have also added an additional selection of news articles from the years 1944 and 1948. I am including as much information as possible, especially where local individuals are mentioned, because I know from communications received from visitors to the site that these are of great interest to many people involved in Family History Research.

I have quite a substantial amount of Years in Focus articles to publish as these were sourced in anticipation of publishing them in the Digest Magazine and they will be included as quickly as possible. Hopefully it will not be too long before the entire website is of uniform appearance.
